Dabur will donate more than 1.2 million notebooks as part of this initiative to support educations with CRY.

Dabur India Ltd has taken a step forward in its pursuit of Environment Sustainability. It is moving to remove outer paper cartons from Dabur Red Paste, its Ayurvedic toothpaste brand. Today, Dabur India Ltd announced that it has launched a pilot program to eliminate paper cartons from Dabur Red Paste. In collaboration with Reliance, the innovative packaging will be eco-friendly and carton-free will be distributed in key MT outlets.

CRY will use paper that was saved from eliminating cartons to make notebooks for children. Dabur Red Paste, in partnership with CRY, has launched a campaign called “Give up The Carton, Give me a Future”. This unique campaign will save paper from packaging used for notebooks and will distribute to over 120,000 children. Dabur India Ltd Marketing Head-Oral Care Harkawal Singh stated that they have repurposed approximately 150 tons of paper, and eliminated waste from the environment.

“We are thrilled to work with Dabur on this smart method. Supermarket and SuperApp customers are conscious citizens and open to green initiatives. They will be grateful for it. We look forward to this small step becoming a industry-wide practice soon,” CEO Grocery.

We are proud to announce the launch our Dabur Red Paste carton-free packs with a new, eco-friendly design. This is a unique step for any Toothpaste brand on the market. To begin, this pilot initiative is being implemented in Modern Trade outlets. This move together is expected to result an annual savings of 150 tons paper,” Rajev John, Vice President Marketing-Personal care at Dabur India Ltd said.

“CRY believes that every child has the right to access quality education. It is an important building block for a child’s potential future. CRY is focused to provide quality education for children. We appreciate all your support in fulfilling this commitment. Dabur’s visionary initiative is admirable. This campaign is dedicated to our future generation and will ensure both education and sustainability,” stated Soha Moitra.

Dabur has spearheaded several environmental sustainability initiatives that will help preserve the planet for future generations. These initiatives include biodiversity promotion, recycling, processing, and recycling post-consumer waste plastic. This initiative is a significant step in the right direction. A family of four can simply switch to carton-free toothpaste packets. This will ensure that they are able to meet the educational material needs of underserved children each year by switching to carton-free toothpaste packs.
