What is the Voot app?
Voot is Viacom18’s Premium video-on-demand platform which helps you browse your favorite shows, movies, and multiple hours of content at your fingertips. Voot was launched six years back in March 2016 when ott was a very new term for all of us. Voot Is available only in a few countries including India, It has over 40,000+ hours of content. It is available in multiple languages so people can comfortably watch their favorite shows without any subtitles. The languages that it includes are Kannada, Marathi, Bengali, Gujarati, Odia, Malayalam, Telugu and Tamil, and of course Hindi.

The voot app when created was not made specifically for the windows system hence the role of an Android emulator comes into play. Some of the emulators that one can use are Bluestacks or Nox.
Various features are very useful apart from easy access to the best shows and also one can download their favorite shows and watch them according to their convenience. Voot app has a very easy-to-use interface. One can easily resume or download any episode with just a click of a button.
How to install the Voot app for PC?
Voot app is applicable for both mac and windows.
Step 1: First we need to download an emulator say bluestacks on the PC.
Step 2: Then install bluestacks on the PC.
Step 3: After it is installed click the icon of bluestacks to launch the Emulator.
Step 4: Open the google play store and search for the Voot app.
Step 5: Select the Voot app and click on install.
Step 6: After the app is installed click the Voot app from the bluestacks home to start using it.
Is voot app for free?
Earlier when voot app was launched it was free of cost but now looking at the growing popularity of the ott platform in February 2020 voot introduced a paid subscription service called voot select. Voot Original series are made available only to paid subscribers. Some TV shows are being streamed a day before TV for its paid subscribers.
How to get voot subscription?
The recurring subscription of voot can be purchased through credit cards, App stores, amazon pay, etc. They also offer one-time subscriptions on the yearly plan where one can find additional payment methods like debit cards, net banking, UPI, and many more.
